Our service next week will be at the usual time of 11AM. The service will be led by David Wilkie.
There will be tea and coffee after the service in the Hall. We hope to see you there.
We are delghted to announce that, following a congregational vote, the Rev Alexander McAspurren was elected to be our new minister (subject to confirmation by Presbytery). We look forward to going forward together!
The proposed date for Rev McAspurren's induction is 5th May.
Bathgate Churches Together; Lent Studies for 2025
There are two series of Lent Studies will be taking place in:
St. Columba's Scottish Episcopal Church on Mondays at 7-15pm, beginning on Mon. 10th March and ending on Mon. 14th April. These studies will be led by David Graham-Service. The series will be based on the book; 'Tarry Awhile: Wisdom from Black Spirituality for People of Faith' , by Selina Stone, which was the Archbishop of Canterbury's Lent Book for 2024.
Boghall Parish Church on Tuesdays at 2-30pm, beginning on 11th March and ending on 15th April, on the theme of 'Courage for the Journey'. Six weeks of Lent studies compiled by Colonel Chris Webb of the Salvation Army, exploring Biblical examples of courageous disciples and how their journeys apply to us today in the 21st Century.
All are welcome to come and share in these groups.
Church Magazine
The archive of church magazines is available here. The magazines should be ready for collection on Friday and will be distributed during the following week. The web-link for the Easter edition can be found here.
Stewardship
A new button has been added to both our website and our Facebook page which allows you to give or donate on-line. The button takes you to Stewarship.org, our partner organisation which handles our on-line giving. The site also has the facilty to say if you are a gift aider, which recovers the tax and therefore increases your donation.
The food bank is open from 10AM - 12 noon on a Tuesday morning in the Church Hall.
Pre-school
The pre-school group runs on a Tuesday from 1 pm until 2:15 pm and on a Thursday from 10 am until 11:15 am. The sessions are 'turn up' with no booking required, but responsible(ish) adults need to remain with the children.
The Church Office
The Church Office is normally open each weekday morning between 10 and 12 noon.
