Covid restrictions
The church office has now re-opened, with the exception of Thursday mornings, though we are still experiencing problems with our internet connection and phone line to the main building. Thanks to all the volunteers who make the work possible.
Following the easing of some restrictions, the central area of the church now has no social distancing in place and masks are advisory only. Please wear a mask while moving around the church, if possible, to make others feel comfortable and remove it when seated.
If you wish to observe social distancing and are more comforatble wearing a mask, please use the side areas. If you are using the side areas, we would ask that you retain your mask at all times.
We will no longer be recording Track and Trace data as you arrive and the use of hand sanitiser is now advisory rather than mandatory.
Our protocols will be reviewed and updated at the next Session meeting in May.
Worship
Our service next Sunday at 11AM at the High will be led by Scott Marshall. This service will include the baptism of Scott's grandson and also the presentation of awards to the BB Company Section.
Food bank
The food bank is open on a regular basis at its usual time of 10AM - 12 noon on a Tuesday morning in the Church Hall. Please spread the word that the foodbank is now operating again and consider donating non-perishable items. The Foodbank is needing to re-stock some items and a list of goods required and a collection box are available in the vestibule.

Ukraine
We are all encouraged to pray for Ukraine. Pray with all the mixed up emotions in your heart and God will listen.
The fastest way to support the humanitarian crisis is to donate through a trusted charity website and the the money can then be transferred and used by those who understand the local needs in Ukraine with no delay. There are details of how to donate to the humanitarian crisis on the Church of Scotland Ukraine web page and this page also gives details of how to donate via the Church of Scotland account or via the national Disaster Emergency Committee (dec) website.
We have also added Ukraine's version of The Blessing to the list of different versions on the Worship Resources page as a sign of solidarity and to stand alongside those affected by the invasion. There is also a version of The Blessing which was prepared to encourage us to pray for Ukraine. This was the version used at the end of the service on Sunday 13th March.
