In 1981, a centenary fund committee was appointed to gather funds so that major work on the church building could take place prior to our Centenary celebrations of 1984 and one of the original fund - raising ventures was a monthly coffee morning.
The success of this venture was such that it was decided to retain this as an ongoing activity, as an outreach into the community, as a place of fellowship where old friends could meet and new friends could be made over tea, coffee and home bakes.
The coffee morning is normally held in the Large Hall on the third Saturday of the month and the monies raised continue to support the maintenance and repair of our church buildings.
There are many regulars who support us from our own church family, from neighbouring churches and the community in general and the team of volunteers work hard to ensure that they offer "arguably" the best coffee in Bathgate!
We hope you find time to join us sometime soon.
