The Bible World Bus will be in Bathgate precinct from Monday 25th - Friday 29th May. Pupils from local schools will be visiting during the day, but there are slots available for groups of adults from 6.30 - 7.30 PM. Please see Liz Orr to book a place.
To celebrate the 125th anniversary of the present building, the Flower Committee will be staging a Festival of Flwers on 11th and 12th September. To raise funds for this, there will be a coffee morning on Saturday 25th April. Tickets are priced £1.50, and are available from committee members.
The Bathgate Christian Bookshop is looking for volunteers to help with the running of the shop. The shop is open in the EU Church in Marjoribanks Streeet,from 10 - 2 on Fridays, and 10 - 1 on Saturdays. Any time you could give would be a help. If anyone is able to help, please see Liz Orr
The Guild Mystery tour leaves the church at 10 AM on the 30th May. Please see Agnes or Jean to reserve a seat.
The monthly coffee morning will be held on Saturday 9th May from 10AM until 12 noon.
Events for Christain Aid week are -
Friday 8th May - Coffee morning at St Mary's church hall from 10 - 12 noon.
Saturday 9th, and Monday 11 th - Friday 15th May - sale of bedding plants outside St. David's from 10 - 12 noon.
Sunday 10th May - Christian Aid service at St Columba's at 6.30PM
Monday 11th - Friday 15th May - door to door collection
Saturday 16th May - Coffee morning at the High Church from 10 - 12 noon.
Sunday 24th May - Christian Aid lunch in the church hall following the service.
The Worship committee will meet on Tursday 7th May at 2PM.
The Congregational Board meet on Thursday 7th May at 7.30PM.
An Art exhibition, titled 'God's creation'is being staged at Torphichen Kirk from 9th - 12th May, from 10AM to 9PM each day. Sunday hours are 1PM - 9PM. Entry is by donation.
